Holashtak
As you all will know that Holashtak will begin on the Asthami of Shukla Paksha of Phalgun month i.e. on 21 March 2021 from Sunday, the full moon of Phalgun month Shukla Paksha will remain till 28 March 2021 the question arises that in these 8 days inauspicious why is it forbidden to work?
Auspicious work is prohibited because Kharmas is starting on Sunday, March 14, 2021, Sun God has entered the zodiac sign of Lord God, and the planet Venus has been established, March 21, 2021, is the beginning of Holashtak from Sunday which is 28 March 2021 days will remain till Sunday, in these 8 days, the work of devotion and meditation is considered appropriate.
Manglik works are banned due to the departure of Venus and the commencement of kharmas. According to mythology, it is belived that when Lord Shree Bholenath had consumed Kamdev in anger, Holashtak started from that day.
It is not considered appropriate to do my auspicious work in these 8 days because there is a legend about it. Hiranyakashyap, king of the demons, told his son Prahlada but Prahlada did not obey his father. Due to the devotion of Lord Vishnu, Lord Hiranyankashyap gave many kinds of tortures to Prahlada and became very angry due to his displeasure with the son.
In the devotion of Prahlada from the Ashtami to the full moon of the month Ashtami to the full moon of the month of Phalgun, he suffered so much, but the devotion of Prahlada has so much power that Lord Vishnu protected his life every time, which all the efforts of Deer Kashyap failed, then Hirankashyap on the eight day i.e. On the full moon of Falgun Shukla Paksha, his sister Holika was entrusted to kill Prahlada.
Holika had already received the boon of Brahma Ji that she could not burn in the fire. Now Holika sat in the fire with Prahlada in her dock but Vishnu Ji saved his devotee Prahlada, Holika burned even Prahlad did not touch the fire.
For this reason, these 8 days are not considered auspicious.
