Take Blessings From Ved Mata Gayatri
Gayatri Devi Jayanti is a celebration to embark on the existence and strength of the Goddess of Vedas. A festival that carries various religious sentiments and the Goddess is said to have five heads. The one head represents almighty, and the other Four heads are a sign of the four Vedas.
Gayatri Jayanti celebrations include offering prayers to the Goddess and chanting the famous Gayatri Mantra. Various rituals are performed to offer worship and pay homage to Gayatri Mata and bhajans, Kirtans, and Satsang.
Significance of Gayatri Jayanti
A day when Sage Vishwamitra first chanted the Gayatri Mantra is said to be Gayatri Jayanti. Also, some people believed that the goddess Gayatri was said to be the Mother of Vedas, ascended on the earth.
Gayatri’s mantra is one of the most supreme and effective mantras, as said in the scriptures. Goddess Gayatri is known as the Goddess of happiness, providing prosperity and wisdom to its devotees. Since Vedic times Gayatri Mantra is known for its effectiveness.
According to our old Vedic scriptures, Goddess Gayatri is said to be the Supreme Goddess. She is also worshipped as Mother Goddess, blessing all her devotees with worldly happiness and keeping them away from all the sins and negative energies.
Performing the Rituals right
Different people from various states follow different rituals according to their religious values on this auspicious day. Most of the Devotees, including both women and men, perform fasting (or even partial fasting) on this day, which they called Gayatri Jayanti Vrata’.
Some powerful and Special Mantras, prayers are recited, and different pujas take place on this day in well-known Temples of Ved Mata Gayatri, also known as Gayatri Shakti Peeth; it’s a festival-like feeling as the whole temple is decorated with flowers and Diyas.
Devotees start to assemble in the temples from the morning and perform their rituals and chant Gayatri Mantra to impress Goddess and get her blessing to provide them and their families happiness and prosperity.
To make the day more special many Satsang events are organized to listen to the various prayers and get to know about the Supreme Goddess.

Conclusion
It has been said that on this day, sage Vishwamitra first chanted Gayatri Mantra, and thus, it is said that rendering Gayatri Mantra thrice a day is a peace-giving practice that everyone should daily do while praying. Devotees from different parts of India perform and offer prayers to Goddess Gayatri and wish for the prosperity of their loved ones.
